Purchase of goods
Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with GJ International Ltd, whose registered office is situated at Wellesley House, 204 London Road, Waterlooville, PO7 7AN, company registration number 4832464.
GJ International Ltd must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods including any postage and applicable taxes, that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Payment is taken when you submit and confirm your order through our website and payment gateway. Once payment has been received, GJ International Ltd will confirm that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address you provide with your order. The shipment e-mail will include your name, the order number and the total price. GJ International Ltd's acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
GJ International Ltd is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.
Withdrawal by you from the contract
If you are an individual and are not buying goods on behalf of a business, there are certain circumstances in which you may withdraw from the contract and these are set out here. This right to withdraw does not apply to business buyers.
You may withdraw your order for goods at any time up to the end of the twenty first working day after you have received the goods. You do not need to give any reason for withdrawing your order nor will you have to pay any penalty.
If goods (physical - not ebooks) are received faulty, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt. You must not unpack the goods, and should contact us through our Contact Us page.
The only circumstance in which you cannot withdraw your order is where you have taken the goods you have ordered (or the ones in relation to which you want to withdraw) out of the sealed package in which they were delivered.
To withdraw your order you must notify us in writing via our Contact Us page.
If you have received the goods before you withdraw your order then, unless you have lost your right to withdraw because you have taken the goods out of their sealed package, you must send them back to us at your own cost and risk, unless the goods were supplied faulty or damaged. If you withdraw your order but we have already processed the goods for delivery and you have received them, you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at your own cost and risk within 7 days.
Once you have notified us that you are withdrawing your order, any sum debited to GJ International Ltd from your credit card, less a 10% administration charge, will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.
Availability of goods you order
If we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible. GJ International Ltd are not obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.
EBOOKS
After purchasing any downloadable eBook from the Exporting Essentials Website, it is the buyer's responsibility to download the eBook within 24 hours of purchase. If you believe an error has been made in the purchase, please do not download the eBook (you must contact us explaining the error via our Contact Us page). Once you as the buyer have downloaded the eBook, then it is impossible for us make any refund to you for it.
YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE that GJ International Ltd has the right to put a temporary hold on any account while it validates credit card purchases and/or reviews such transactions for potential fraud. While an account is on hold, downloading eBooks is not allowed. Once the purchase is validated, the hold will be removed and downloading will be possible. Or, if the transaction is fraudulent, then the account will be frozen and other actions will be taken.
Important Notice: eBooks cannot be printed, copied, or "loaned" to others due to copyright laws.
Important Notice: Once an eBook is downloaded, it cannot be refunded or exchanged for another eBook or a different format of the same eBook. Refunds for purchases of ebooks not downloaded will be charged at 10% per transaction and orders under £10 will be charged a further £2.00. This charge is due to the cost we incur when processing the transaction.
